Plastic waste for processing, is mainly taken by landfill, incineration, pyrolysis and recycling and other means, but the results are far from satisfactory. Degradable plastics in the development of research, the category of ordinary polyolefins especially polyethylene pyrolysis research has become the main direction of research. In this paper, pyrolysis method for waste plastics polyethylene wax cracking technology, for industrial direct thermal decomposition of polyethylene wax obtained by the inadequacies of the product through the process in the reaction by adding organic solvents to increase the solubility of plastic to improve the quality of products, at the same time can effectively reduce the reaction temperature, lower production costs, and some physical properties of products were measured.
The results showed that: in the cleavage reaction by adding xylene as solvent, the amount of 10% (mass percentage), reaction temperature 425 ℃, reaction for 15 minutes under the reaction conditions, solvent refined, high yield can be produced, chroma better low molecular weight polyethylene wax, and its yield was 87.8%; product was about the melting point of 97.8 ℃, viscosity-average molecular weight of 1264.6, the acid value to 0.2443 mg KOH / g, 20 ℃ of the density of 0.8975g / cm3, ash 0.00578%,.
