I’m a fisherman’s daughter from a little town called Yoroido on the Sea of Japan. I have a sister name(改成named) Sayuri-san. My family and I were lived (改成My family and I used to live)in a place called “tipsy house”. It stood near a cliff where the wind off the ocean was always blowing. I’m very much like (改成I look quite like) my mother, and hardly(hardly改成not) at all like my father and older sister(older 改成my elder). I have (加上the)same peculiar eyes as my mom, which you almost never seen in japan. (改成which can hardly be seen in Japan)
When I was 7, my mom was(was改成got) sick. The doctor said she was going to die, I felt very sad and depress(depress改成depressed). I don’t know how to live with out my mom. Another day I heard that my father was talk to Mr.Tanaka(改成I heard my father talking to Mr. Tanaka),they (,改成.they改为They)said they are gona to(to 去掉,因为口语中gonna = going to) send Sayuri and I to other place(变复数为places). Mr.Tanaka said he is gona(gona拼写错了,is时态不对,改为was gonna) bring us to a village that is(去掉that is 更好) down the mountain. I saw my dad nod his head hardly(nod改为nodding,因为see sb. doing sth.固定搭配,另外hardly用词不当,改为heavly,重重的点了点头). Mr.Tanaka (此处加上then表时间变化)brought us on the train; we didn’t talk at all,(此处去掉逗号) except (此处加上that)I ask
(ask改为asked)him what are we going(what are we going改为where were we going)? He said Kyoto. I was so worried, because Kyoto is a very far place to me, it’s like a foreign country. (改为because to me Kyoto was a very far place, and it sounded like a foreign country.)
When we arrived Kyoto, Mr.Tanaka separate (改为separated)Sayuri and I, another person brought her to other place(整句改为and she was brought to some place else更好),(此处将逗号改为句号)when we look (looked)at each other, I cried,(此处将逗号改为句号,下句加上 And) I can tell she was cried(改为was crying) too,(此处将逗号改为句号) may be(may be改为Maybe) this is(that was) the first time we can(could) fully understand each other’s feeling(feelings). I just stood there, I can(could) tell that Mr.Tanaka is (was)pulling me to the other way. When I (加上finally更好体现语气)turned back, I saw a beautiful and elegant young lady,(逗号改句号即可。或者去掉逗号,用whose引导定于从句修饰 young lady,即……young lady whose clothes were the most ……,这样更好)the clothes she wore were the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. This is(That was) when I first meet Hatsumomo. At that time, she is (was)one of the most popular geisha in that area
I was so shocked by the way she looked, (逗号改成that,即so…… that结构)I even forgot my manners, and I was staring right into(into 改成at) her face. Suddenly a old woman appeared back of(back of改成behind) Hatsumomo, she let me call her Auntie. And then she looked me(去掉这个me,多出来了) down at me, said in a throaty voice:” Heavens! What (加上a pair of)startling eyes! You’re a lovely girl”. After a while Auntie brought me to see Pumpkin, she is (was)similar to me,(逗号改句号) her body is(was) thin, but her face seems to have more meat(改成seemed more chabby婴儿肥), which makes(made) it looks(look) like a circle,(逗号去掉改为and) kind of like a pumpkin on a stick. "pumpkin" (首字母大写)walked toward me, and put down her bucket, looked at me for a second, and then asked: " where are you from?" I was sure she didn't know the place that I came from, so I said to her, I just arrived. Then she told me to work hard,(去掉逗号) so that when I grow up, I can(could) also be a famous geisha, and she told me that I have(had)to try to let mom likes(like喜欢 let sb. do sth) me.
When I saw mom and granny, they asked me some questions,(逗改句) granny doesn’t(didn't) really like me. Mom told me that if I don’t (didn't)want to got bit(改为beaten 被打), I must work as hard as I can, (逗号改为and)don’t ever think about leave there,(逗改句) and(加上then更合时间句意) may be (may be 改为Maybe)you(you改为I) have(改为would have) to learn how to become a good geisha. Suddenly, I started to worried about my sister, may be (may be 改为Maybe)she was also being punished by a(a改成another更好) woman.
