The Olympic Games

The Olympic Games will be held in our country in four years' time.As a great many people will be visiting the country, the government will be building new hotels, an immense staduim, and a new Olympic-standard swimming pool. They will also be building new roads and a special railway line. The Games will be held just outside the capital and the whole area will be called "Olympic City". Workers will have completed the new roads by the end of this year. By the end of next year, they will have finished work on the new dtadium. The fantastic modern buildings have been designed by Kurt Gunter. Everybody will be watching anxiously as the new buildings go up. We are all very excited and are looking forward to the Olympic Games because the have never been held before in this country.

我盼望着2008年8月8日快点到来。这是北京奥运会开幕的日子，是世界体育大家庭聚会北京的日子，更是每一个中国人倍感骄傲的日子。
I am looking forward to the days coming of Aug.8TH 2008, the day Beijing Olympic games will be opened, the day Sports family gather in beijing, and the day All the Chinese feel proud.

作为一个小主人，我真想成为一名光荣的奥运志愿者，可是到了那时，我还太小，不能成为一个真正的志愿者，但是，我依然可以为北京奥运会做出自己的贡献。
