apple以元音开头的单词
英语中以元音开头的词前面要用an而不是a.
音标中元音一共有5个
一般以a,e,i,o,u开头的单词要用an,但也不绝对
如university,开头音标是/ju:/,所以要用a.

数字在英文中直接用阿拉伯数字书写就成了
全球通用
要是要读的话
two five o three o three five eight three
(一般电话号码中零zero直接读字母o)

在单词的音标是元音开头时候用an

否则用a

two hundred and fifty million three hundred and three thousand five hundred and eighty three

如果第二个英文字是A E I O U 开头，就用An。
还有特别的例子，像是Honour ，虽然是H开头，但是读法是 Onour，所以这些也应该用 An。Hour也是，因为读成Our，所以应该用An。

A的话更简单。所有非AEIOU开始的字前面都用A。
除了刚才我给的例子。

250 = Two hundred and fifty
303 = three hundred and three
583 = five hundred and eighty three

如以a,e, i. o,u开头的可数名词用an．比如an apple, an egg等

其他开头的可数名词用a, 比如, a girl

two hundread and fifty million, thirty o three thousand, five hundred and eighty three
