变压器是利用电磁感应原理做成的能改变电压的设备.变压器有铁芯和线圈组成.变压器线圈分初级线圈和次级线圈.在初级线圈中通交流电时.变压器铁芯就产生了交变的磁场.次级线圈就感应出与初级频率相同的交流电.变压器线圈的圈数比等于电压比.例如一个变压器的初级线圈是880圈.次级是88圈.在初级接入220V电压.次级就会输出22V的交流电压.变压器不仅可以降压也可升压.远距离输电一般都用变压器升高电压.在用电处再用变压器降到我们所需要的电压
直流变压器的说法不对.直流电不能变压.直流电要变换电压首先要用电子元件将直流电变为交流电,然后用变压器变换电压.这个设备叫逆变器.
