According to my knowledge, Every year we have a Princeton offer, which is given to the top-GPA student most of time.
Besides,in 2008, we have a Standford; in 2009, we have a Harvard (changing to SC); in 2010, we will have Standford.
We haven't got Berkley or MIT for at least 30 years. The most popular school will be Purdue and University of Texas, Austin. And since one of our professor graduating from UIUC, so it is relatively popular when we applying.
Above are PhD offers with fellowship.
Generally speaking, we will have one or two stellar offers like Princeton, Stanford, Harvard, Yale and maybe Cornell if it counts. Then two or there fellowship offer from universities like Purdue, UTA. After that we also have 5 to 8 master degree offers. Add up to around 10 students every year.
Honestly speaking, if you target on studing abroad, ME may not be the best choice for you. Competition is extremely harsh and your GPA will be relatively pedestrain.
