From the various demand perspectives on the college students’ interactions, rest and study, this article elaborates that the design of outdoor recreational space on campus should attach great emphasis on people oriented concept in terms of its planning, layout, spatial scale and arrangement of recreational facilities; so as to create a harmonious, elegant and humanistic recreational space.
