If customer has no special request on phosphorus content, we will produce it arrording to international standard. The international standard of phosphorus content is no more than 0.045%.

If the order is confirmed, we will pay more attention on raw materials selection and smelting process, making sure the content is lower than 0.03% or even 0.025% to meet your requirement.

In addition, 316 material is widely used. We can use foundry returns during producing procedure. Foundry returns are the disqualified material after melting. It can be used in resmelting and will not influence the material quality. The price of 309 material is caculated in accordance with the price of pure ferrochrome and nickel. The yield of this material is very low. Its producing process is complicated with no foundry returns allowed.

If the order confirmed, we can meet your requirement to reduce the phosphorus content to be less than 0.03%, probably less than 0.025% through choosing raw materials and paying attention to smelting. Moreover, the 316 material is in wide use and its resmelted material can be use in production. The so-called resmelted material means the unqualified material during smelting can be resmelted. It does not affect the material itself.
For the 309 material, its price is fixed as per pure chrome iron and nickel. it has low utilization and is hard to be processed. In addition, it cannot be resmelted.
