1 原理
测量溶液的电导率(电阻率的倒数),必须有两片金属插入水中。在两金属间施加一定的电压,在电场的作用下,溶液中的阴阳离子便向与本身极性相反的金属板方向移动并传递电子,象金属导体一样,离子的移动速度与所施加的电压有线性关系,因此电解质溶液也遵守欧姆定律。电解质电阻的大小除了和电解质的浓度有关外,还和电解质的种类与性质—电解质的电离度、离子的迁移率、粒子半径和离子的电荷数以及溶剂的介电常数和粘度等有直接关系。

比电阻和比电导(电导率):设有截面积为acm2、相距1cm的两片平行金属电极置于电解质溶液中。根据欧姆定律,在温度一定时,两平行电极之间溶液的电阻R与距离l成正比、与电极的截面积a成反比.

电导电极的构造:电导电极或称电导池,是测量电导的传感元件。常规用的电极一般是两个金属片(或圆筒)用绝缘体固定在支架上。
电导电极的常数和温度系数:当电极制成后,对每支电极而言,两个金属片(或圆筒)的面积a和距离l是不变的。l/a可以看成是一个常数,这就是电极常数,用A表示,
