The task-based learning is a traditional way of teaching. In task- based learning, the teachers have used tasks as a follow-up to a series of structure or lessons. The students will learned from the process of activity completing, and became more clear about the activity through leading a presentation by themselves (Lin Chen, 2002; 104). Abstract
Task-oriented teaching is one kind of procedure motivated by studying specific tasks and learn from the completion of the task to demonstrate the ways of task achievement to reflect the outcome of the task-oriented teaching. As it mentioned in "Normal high school English curriculum standards", teachers should refrain from simply imparting language knowledge and advocate task-oriented teaching model, which allows students to achieve the task objectives, experience learning success through such methods as perception, experience, practice, participation and cooperation, etc. and under the guidance of teachers. " In this paper, task-oriented teaching method is explained from the most basic concept to how to design a teaching task, till the end making a detailed analysis on the implementation of the teaching task.
