As we all know, china and western countries have different history and values. That's lead to the different cultural education between China and western countries.
In china, people think highly of theories,so the teacher offen require their studens learn the theories.but their abillity of practice is short. On the other hand, in the western country, they regard the abillity of practice as important, the theory is not very important.
In my oppion, there are no right no wrong, just difference. different cultures has its own advantage
