Henan is one of the many Chinese culture's origins. Through out its history, Henan has been the centers of China's politics, economy and culture. Its long history has left Henan many precious and abundant ancient sites. Henan has the most under-the-ground and above-the-ground relics in China. Among which, Longmen Caves and Anyang ruins have entered in the World Culture Heritage List in 2000 and 2006, respectively.
Henan has many famouse historical characters. Most Chinese family names are originated from this province. Seventy percentage of Kejia population living Taiwan, and 48 family names originated from this area as well.
Besides, the culture enriched Zhengzhou shaolin martial art festival, luoyang Chinese rose festival and Kaifei Mum Flower Festival all have attracted numerous domestic and foreign tourists to visit Henan.
